Problem. I do not see it.

May as well
get rid of the windshield since you aren’t using it.

So how tall are you? I’m 6’1” you look a far bit taller than me.
![]() 04/23/2019 at 10:51 |

6’ 3”

You need something more spacious, like a Miata.

ND (no dice)

I really want to import a Daihatsu Copen. I'm 5 feet, 7 inches, so I think I'd fit without being cramped! :)
![]() 04/23/2019 at 11:35 |

What is that? A car for ants?
As a tall person I also cannot fit in a Miata. A cappuccino
would be laughable.

Miata is better, but my eyes are still level with the top of the windshield frame.

I’m 6'3" and felt I just made it in the ND Miata. Couldn’t do long distances though.
(the 2019 only b/c telescopic steering wheel makes a huge difference )

Damn! Let me guess, tall torso and shorter legs? I'm 6'2 and fit well in them...
![]() 04/23/2019 at 11:54 |

A one piece race seat is your answer, and for drivers over about 6'2 ” they can be bolted directly to the floor for even more clearance. You can put pretty big people in a miata when you get rid of the factory seat.

It seems like I need about 3-4" further from the pedals and about 2-3" lower. My right knee is cocked right between the steering wheel and shifter so tight I cannot do either shifting or steering let alone efficiently operate the brake and gas pedal
.

A race seat on the factory rails for adjustability would get you there, or for street use a one-piece rally seat. Rally seats tend to have lower bolsters on the seat base, and that makes them a lot easier to get into and out of on the street.

Your head protects the car’s roll bar.
How noble of you!

I feel like that’s the perfect height for imports (me too).

I approve.

I wear a 34” inseam for pants, and large in most shirts

Well I guess I can scratch that of my list of cars to own some day

Thanks James! :P
Can you tell FIAT to sell the Panda here in Canada so I can get one of those too?
![]() 04/23/2019 at 18:17 |

I’ll do my best. I could also ask Dacia about the Sandero if you like.
![]() 04/23/2019 at 19:12 |

Sure! Preferably the Panda though....including the Panda Cross, because it would be perfect for Canada. FWD year-round, 4WD in the winter when you need it! :P

It only depends on how you’re built... I’m 6'2 and fit well. Did a video on the subject specifically.

I have longer legs, it surely helps... I did a video on that subject specifically.

Miata is that way for me also. TR6 is a little that way but overall a little roomier. Seats in the Miata also don’t recline enough to suit me but do in the TR6.
